| | 1.5mi warmup then 4x1200 and 1x800. it went pretty well even though it was pretty hot and im still pretty sick. i ran a ton faster than friday. splits were 4:06, 4:05, 4:03, 4:04, and then 2:34 for the 800. i had a little too much rest in between the 1200's cuz of waiting for people.. it varied from 4 to almost 5 minutes once. other than that it felt super good and i went pretty fast. the guys are looking pretty good. it was on the track btw

| | 6.5mi with some speed changes. After a few miles I did 2 800's at race pace with some jogging in between then ran and did some bursts a few times. Finished at 6.5mi, felt good to open it up a little bit but still trying to conserve for tomorrow's workout

| | Forgot my shoes so I had to borrow some spikes from the shed or flats without spikes in them and run in those. 1.5mi warmup, 3mi tempo, 1.5mi cool down. I ran in the grass next to the guys on the sidewalk since I had flats with studs in and it was uneven and a lot harder. I fell back after 2mi and finished pretty tired. It was hot and I didn't feel good at all. 6:05 avg pace I think

Northwest classic (3.107 Miles) 00:17:21, Place overall: 16 | | so we went up to Eugene and did the northwest classic on the state course. It was hot and not the best weather. Anyways I went out pretty fast and hit the mile in 5:23 feeling really good. I picked it up for the next half mile until we hit the hill, that took it out of me. After that, I slowly died off a little and couldn't keep that sub-17 pace. I got 3rd on our team but I was pretty disappointed... I need to do some more speed work so I can have a stronger 2nd half of the race for now on.
